The Language of God

The Language of God

My husband and I were having a conversation. I had asked him to please share with me the perspective of a group of people he had grown up around. Him not agreeing with the perspective was already known. If he had, we wouldn’t have been sitting there as husband and wife having this conversation in the first place.

I asked because I sought to understand. “What is going on with all the running laps around the church? What is the purpose? What is the meaning?”

I admit, the thoughts running through my head weren’t very complimentary but I recognized them as judgments of my own ignorance. There was no way I was relating such undisciplined behavior as worshipful. I had been raised Catholic, after all. Popping up out of my seat at an inappropriate moment and running laps around the church during services would have definitely been frowned upon at the very least. With excommunication and exorcism as definite possibilities.

Yet, in the church my husband grew up around, running laps during service was actually one of the goals of the service. “Why?”

He went on to explain.

“The belief is that running laps around the church is a sign that God has entered you. It’s God that takes you over, thus you run around the church.”

I bit my tongue. ‘God likes running in circles?’ I thought to myself. There has to be more to it than that. At least there’s the idea that God can be within, even it if does express itself more like a kind of possession than communion.

“There’s more to it than just running laps, isn’t there?” I asked.

“Yes. You can run in circles, you can jump up and down, or you can start talking in tongues. If you ever want to get to Heaven, you have to have talked in tongues.”

Work myself into a state of mental and emotional imbalance, into an irrational frenzy, and call it ‘communing with God’? Definitely not something for me. Now growing up as I did, I was familiar with conditions for entering ‘Heaven’. Catholic dogma is full of them. I had just never heard of this one.

“I don’t understand. Would you please help me? What is ‘talking in tongues’?” I was familiar with the phrase and had my own understanding of its meaning. I was seeking to understand what meaning others had given it.

“Talking in tongues is speaking some sort of language….’God’s Language’, the ‘Language of Spirit’. It sounds like babbling.

“How do you know it isn’t?”

“Because there has to be a witness: someone who will testify that they understood what was said.”

“How do you know it’s not a set up? A con game? With both the witness and the one talking in tongues playing a con game on themselves and the rest of the congregation witness to that?”

“You don’t. It’s the belief to accept it on blind faith. Like I’ve said, I never did it. It never happened to me. I never experienced God entering me and causing me to jump up and start running laps. Much less talk in tongues.

The belief is that you have to be truly repentant and you can’t lie. Your Heart knows when you’re lying. So if you’re not truly repentant, God won’t enter you, causing you to run laps and talk in tongues. I wasn’t properly ‘repentant’ when it came to wearing short sleeves and other ‘flashy’ clothes.”

“This, I was familiar with, at least a little. There’s “repentance” in the form of “Confession” and “Penance” in Catholicism. Thinking of going to Confession on Saturday, receiving Communion on Sunday, then back to business as usual Monday through Friday, I asked, “How many times can you do it?”

Now it was his turn to look puzzled. “How many times!?”

“Yes. Like how many times can you repent your ways? You know how we are. We can really, truly want to repent, want to change our ways. But old habits are hard to break. We can stumble even with the best of intentions. We can truly feel sorry. Desperately sorry. And genuinely want change.”

“Ahhhh…but are we sorry we did it or sorry we got caught?”

“I see. We’re sorry for the consequences. We’re sorry we’ve got a Guilty conscience. Sorry we’re Guilty. Not necessarily sorry we did it.”

“Like I said, we can’t lie to our Hearts. True Repentance is genuinely feeling regret and desire to change. Once, is generally all it takes.”

I sat and pondered it a moment. I started repeating back what I had understood, checking to see if I had comprehended. This parroting exercise is something I learned long ago. It helps avoid misunderstandings. Sometimes I only think I understand, when really, I don’t or haven’t. I had been taking notes whenever I heard a buzz word or phrase. I can literally feel significance and importance. It’s a sense.

“True Repentance”, as in genuinely desiring change?”

“Yes.”

“’Speaking in tongues’ meaning speaking the ‘Language of God’, the ‘Language of Spirit’?”

“Yes. Like fire letters or something but spoken.”

“But not necessarily understood?”

“Right.”

I spoke up.

“Let me share with you my conception.

The Language of God, the Language of Spirit, has to have an essential ingredient. The Language will have a certain tone, a certain quality of ‘Absolute Being’ about it. Equanimity. Equality. Something common to one and All. All embracing. All pervasive. All inclusive. That means capable of being experienced by every One. ALL of Us. Not just some. the chosen.

I have problems with the concept of ‘the chosen’. Because there is implied a ‘those who are Not’. That’s not equal. Can’t be ‘All That Is’ and ‘All Embracing’, so long as there is a ‘them that’s Not’.

It doesn’t make any sense…a ‘limited unlimited’. It’s silly. So I object to the idea on Principle alone. If it’s an idea of exclusion and limitation, it’s not an idea coming from any kind of ‘Absolute Being’ level of awareness. No matter how many of Us potentates and self appointed religious ‘authorities’ claim it is.

Unity has a feel to it. An Essence. It’s Whole and Sum. It’s an ALL kind of thing.

The Language of God, the Language of Spirit that we ALL know speaks in tones of Unity. Spirit Unifies. There is One Spirit, One ‘Supreme’ or ‘Absolute’ Being. This Being-ness is communicated through our Hearts. And I wrote this list:

The Essence of Unity

The Essence of Understanding

The Essence of Truth

The Essence of Faith

The Essence of Acceptance

The Essence of Tolerance

The Essence of Compassion

The Essence of Harmony

The Essence of Forgiveness

The Essence of Peace

Then said, “this is just a few. I know what kind of man you are and, according to my concepts and what I’ve witnessed, you’ve been ‘talking in tongues’ your whole life. Just didn’t know it.

There’s an old saying: the only way to overlook the obvious is if we’re not looking. I haven’t met a person yet, that didn’t express at least one of these Essences. Every single One of us can and do ‘talk in tongues’ every day.

According to my understanding, what a Truly ‘repentant’ Heart seeks to change is the feeling of rejection that comes with the judgment of ‘Guilty’. The remedy for this is the understanding of the Essence of Forgiveness. As in all other Essences of the Absolute, it’s Always ‘here’. Where ever and when ever ‘here’ Is. It’s simply a matter of knowing the choice to receive is Present.”

“Are these peptides?” he asked, a twinkle in his eye.

“I guess we could call them perspectives that create peptides. We have to be in our Ever Loving Mind to know the e-motions, the e-senses, and the feel of it. If we don’t make sense, there will be nothing to sense.

The beliefs we’ve had up to now, regardless of what belief system we embrace, haven’t had much sense of Unity in them. Inclusiveness. Equanimity. Equality. Fairness. Justice. Universal in scope. And most of all, Unconditionally Loving and Embracing.

They’ve all been conditions of exclusivity. I call it line drawing. Giving rise to all sorts of reasons for rejection. Every culture has them. We call it ‘polarity’ and ‘duality’. I call it ‘Righteousness based on Wrongness’. There has to be a ‘not chosen’ in order for there to be a ‘chosen’. Exaltation of some at the negation of others. This is not Unity; it is the basis of separation. There has to be delegated a ‘bad’, so the ‘good’ will feel superior. There has to be a ‘not special’, for some to feel ‘special’.

This gives rise to the creation of a relationship pattern within Humanity where one group, a ‘moral’ majority, literally feeds off the lives of others, giving rise to codes of behavior that propagate, support and nurture, repulsive qualities of character: supremacy, bias, prejudice and, arrogance. Once we draw lines of separation, we have parts. The moment we make parts, we create conflict.

While many of Us ‘pray’ for Divine Justice, it doesn’t ever enter our minds that reality is It. We reap as we sow. If we don’t like what we’re reaping, then MAYBE it’s time to change what we sow. Our behavior, fueled by our beliefs, is the source of all our conflicts, suffering, sorrow and, woe. Our beliefs are self-destructive. The sooner we realize it, the sooner we can change and, create different results.

“People don’t like accountability.”

“I know. It’s because issues of accountability and responsibility are tied to beliefs in fault and blame. We don’t like fault and we don’t like blame. It’s beliefs in these concepts that are one of our veils. ‘Taking the rap’, ‘fault’ and ‘blame’ are all ‘children’ of judgment and condemnation. To condemn is to draw a line and pronounce ‘Guilty.’ To reject it, whatever ‘it’ is.

My desire and goal is Understanding and there’s no way I can accomplish that if I start out with an attitude of trying to separate myself from the experience. Labeling it a ‘sin’, or ‘evil’, or ‘bad karma’ for that matter, does precisely just that.

I insist, every experience in Life and of Life is a Present. A Gift of the Moment. If I fail to embrace it, whatever it is, however unpleasant and unhappy it might very well be, then I have expressed my own limitations when it comes to my Love of Life. Wisdom always comes with Sorrow.

I don’t look at anything as being ‘wrong’. There are simply choices. With consequences and results. Psychological consequences and psychological results. These consequences and results are dictating how we relate to One Another. We haven’t had Peace, genuine Peace on Our planet because We aren’t Peaceful Beings. I’m looking at the choices we make and their consequences, as an observer, like a fan watching a game. Accepting everything. Tolerating everything. Embracing everything. I Love Life that much.

I’m targeting our beliefs and questioning our choices. Questioning if we truly desire to continue making these same choices, after we Understand what choices we’ve been making. I chose to change.

This is where ‘knowledge’ of the Essences becomes essen-tial. Most especially the Essence of Forgiveness. I treat our errors and mistakes like oppsies and uh oh’s. Entirely Understandable and Forgivable. I found this perspective makes a great deal of difference when it comes to facing our issues and those matters that weigh heavily on our Hearts. Responsibility and accountability take the place of fault and blame. It’s how we transform ourselves from a victim to empowered. Take back the Sovereignty of our own lives.

If We weren’t so afraid of being ‘damned’ or labeled ‘bad’ or ‘evil’, we could actually make some corrections. As it is, we’re too afraid to even look at the psychological skeletons in our closets, limiting both our self potential and our potential for experiencing fulfillment.

It’d sure be a lot ease-ier for All of Us if we just called the whole ‘damn’ thing off. Everybody admit to being ignorant and making a lot of mistakes. Oopsie.”

“To err is Human,” says my Husband.

“And ‘To Forgive is Divine’, I add. “That’s just it. We keep forgetting to access the Divine part. I am Human and I am God also. While many of Us gather together, giving each other encouragement and support for our facades, we really, truly, genuinely, DON’T believe in Forgiveness.

Because the perspectives the Lot of us express sure aren’t it.

It’s easy to laugh at a mistake, an oppsie and, the ability to laugh at ourselves is crucial. ‘Stupid can’t be fixed.’ Sense-less-ness can. I have a great deal of Faith in Us. I know what we are capable of and our potentials. We’ve been limiting ourselves and the intrinsic worth of our lives, by being infected with beliefs that cause self doubt and a whole pile of self worth and self esteem issues. Life would be more enjoyable for All of us, if We were fully functional instead of handicapped in our awareness.

We can play well together instead of ‘ill at ease’. In Unity.

Unity is an Absolute.

There is only One Whole.

There is only One Infinity.

There is only One Eternity.

There is only One Unified Quantum Field.

There is only One All.

All embracing means just that. Nothing is excluded or rejected.

The Essence of Unity unifies….Always embraces all ways.

That’s the Voice of Spirit; the Voice of God.

It’s a Voice that expresses Unconditional Loving.

A genuinely limitless unlimited.

And if it’s missing this tone of Unity, of All Encompassing and All inclusive, then it’s a sure sign that the belief is man made non-sense. No matter how many of Us fossilized fools choose to believe it.

  1. I need to read this several times to fully digest the richness, but I needed to stop a moment and share that what you said, there cannot be just the chosen, has to and must be true. Unconditional love is unconditional isn’t it?

  2. YES!!!!!!!!!

That’s the richness and the beauty of it.

Quite an Independence Day, isn’t it?

I am free to Love myself…whenever…even on my ‘bad’ days.

The more I love myself, the more I fill up my own cup, the more I can love others.

‘Values I carry with me where ever I go.’

I transferred my Value system to values of my heart:Compassion, Tolerance, Acceptance, Understanding, Mercy and Forgiveness and related my sense of Self, my sense of Worth and Self Esteem, to these Values.

Abundantly available no matter how much any one of us has. Totally independent of what ‘who’ does ‘what’.

Then, as the saying goes…’the outside reflects the inside’. I ’sow’ and I ‘reap’.

Didn’t like reaping ‘guilt’. It felt icky.

Understanding and Compassion feels much more Loving.

    Bless you!!!

  3. :)

How funny, I read your comment on my post (still unanswered) before reading this, and my response to you “over there” was bless you.

Now I see, you have done the same, blessing me.

I wish Sue Ann I knew the Language of the Birds, the Green Language, Alchemy, and yes, I am glad I do not live in MA many centuries ago.

Namaste. Put you and the naked soul on the blogroll today.

  4. I hadn’t realized that ’speaking in tongues’ was supposed to be in a specific language. My theory has been that such people are connected to All That Is and are therefore in touch with the souls of everyone who has ever lived – on Earth and in all other planes of existence. These souls may therefore be speaking through such people, in a multitude of different languages. (This is only a theory, you understand – I’m not going to build a new religion around it!)

I also believe that evangelical churches are a great way to get in touch with God. These people are able to surrender themselves and let the spirit in. The problem, however, and why I could never join one of them, is that they make the mistake of assuming that this experience is dependent on having a specified set of beliefs. I don’t think it is. Like you, I believe that unconditional love is available to *everyone*, unconditionally, irrespective of whether or not they eat fish on Fridays or think that spiritual healing is the work of the devil (or whatever).

I could never join a church which preaches that some of us are ‘chosen’. It just goes against my gut instinct. I’d be out there running right away: but not *around* the church, *away from it*.

Thanks for the link, by the way! I’ve linked you back. I’ve also responded briefly to your comment on my blog – though what exactly did you mean by walking *backwards* into the present?

  5. My husband and I have had many discussions as he had patiently explained ‘being moved by spirit’. I admit, I’m not stpid but I can definitely be dense. I really didn’t understand until he commented to me one day about me playing music. I QUIT playing music when I was being steered away from playing ‘as the spirit moved me’. I certainly didn’t care about being a concert pianist. I played because I was moved to play.

Same thing with the sculptures. When ‘in the groove’, time is suspended. It is both ecstacy and agony. The agony coming when it’s over.

What Pentecostals taught me was that it was ‘ok’ to move when the spirit calls. For I had become rather clammed up.

But when it came to ’speaking in tongues’, I wasn’t going to be fooled. There is no reason to speak a message that can’t be understood. And if it can’t be understood by one and all, it is not a message coming from spirit. For Spirit’s tone is Unity and unification. Equality.

It is Vanity that plays the game of giving some, tips withheld from others.

The astral realms, the akashic records, where all sorts of dead languages and info can be accessed, are accessed by many but are not in any way, ’spiritual’.

Psychic, yes. Spiritual, no. The difference being, ‘time’. One realm recognizes it, the other doesn’t.

I know some blogs have music but there’s nothing on the sonic whatever I care to choose. I’m working on it, just like I’m working on figuring out where the ‘rss’ button is, so I can offer my posts in audio format, for many are long and maybe listening would be easier.

In the meantime, in the Spirit and in Honor of the Evangelical churches, the music I like to listen to is like this:

Old Crow Medicine Show “I Hear Them All”

Toe tapping. Fun music. Music to be moved by.

Now back to your blog so I may answer your question about ‘time’.

    Many blessings to you Simon!

    I hope you’re having a cheery day!

  6. Thanks for this, Sue Ann. The akashic records – I’ve heard of them. Must look them up. It’s interesting that you mention here about offering your posts in audio format. I have a problem with eye pain so your long posts are challenging and an audio alternative would be much appreciated! I’ve seen some blogs with little buttons you press to play music. I keep meaning to look into them myself as I’d like to put some guided meditations on my blog.

  7. You are quite welcome Simon!

Smiling. I was just cruising, you know how it is, following some sort of scent leading to who knows where when I found this:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/listenbutton/#post-2190

Have to have an ‘rss’ in order to use it, thus my quest to flip that switch.

I bet the same free plugin would do just what you had in mind, too.

  8. Hmm, trouble with that plugin is that I use Typepad rather than WordPress. I’ll look into it though.

As for an RSS feed, mine comes from Feedburner:
    http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/blogs
If you look on the right hand side, there’s a quick start guide to using Feedburner with a WordPress blog. (Hope that makes sense! I don’t really understand all this stuff…)

  9. Thank you Simon. I will check it out. I see we’re about at the same level of expertise with this stuff!

I’m on the trail of scent now!

I’ll make it, just a few adventures here and another few there…

  10. Sue,
This is a fantastic post! It covers so many of the areas that I am thinking about and working through as I wean myself off christianity (all I have ever known) and step aout into the broader pastures of more wholistic thinking. For me, step one is the discovery of the “Conversations with God” trilogy, which I have read in its entirety, and now I’m going backover it bit by bit because there is just sooooo much new stuff!
    Peace!
    Jon

  11. Hi Jon!

If you enjoyed this one, then you will most likely also enjoy ‘Trust’ , ‘Understanding’ and ‘Knowing’, which can be found by follwing the links on the side.

Please, by all means, enJoy yourself. It is for the pleasure of all I offer a buffet that costs me nothing.

I share what I have and, am not made lessor by it.

    Blessings!

  12. I will have to come back when I have more time but I’ve read far enough to realized how fortunate a person I am. Some years I had good reason to want to understand at least a smattering of the Aramaic language, the language Jesus spoke, the common tongue of the area. When the disciples were promised they would speak in “tongue”, it did not mean “gibberish”, it meant that the gospel would be preached in many languages! As simple as that.

  13. Greetings {{mary!}}

That’s it. The phrase has been given many meanings. What I am attempting to convey is that whenever anything is made a condition, what ever it is, including ’speaking in tongues’, then it is not a concept that is Spiritual or of Spirit in origin. For the tone of Spirit is all inclusive.

God, Life, the Unified Quantum Field, they are all the same perspective. One of Absolute Acceptance and Embrace.

    “Always Embraces All Ways”

  14. I am not certain I have the words to state what I have in mind, but I’ll try. If the Jewish scriptures had remained strictly oral, had they never have been gathered into a book we call the Old Testament . . . and if the Apostle Paul had not claimed a crucified Jew, who went to his death believeing himself to be the long promised “Moshiach” who was to free the Jews from Roman rule and to usher in the “Kingdom of God . . . would the conversation still have taken place?

  15. upon rereading my comment, I find I did not clarify my point. If the Apostle Paul had not given the early Church reason to deify Jesus, would the conversation have taken place?

  16. Hugs {{Mary}} Much of what you’re sharing is based upon “Paul”, who I point out was never a part of the ‘program’ and whose perception was bound to have been colored by his own upbringing, which was along the lines of the “Greek” ways, when it came to issues such as sexuality.

You may be under the impression that I invalidate the whole story, which I don’t. Just our blind and ignorant interpretation of it. If ‘God’ is all, then we are all equally ‘god’, not just ‘jesus’. Whatever we choose to call the perspective of Totality, whether we call it God, Life or the Unified Quantum Field, we are all equally parts of it and not in any way separate from it, anymore than a wave is separate from the ocean. A part cannot contradict the Whole.

The ENTIRE Bible is based upon Agnostic Gospels and,*knowing* comes through understanding of the “Gnostic Gospels”. Understanding which integrates and aligns perfectly with Quantum Physics. “Gnost” means to Know and “Agnost” means to know not.

We DO reap as we sow, according to Quantum Physics. A negative field will attract a negative pole. Justice is not a question of right and wrong or a matter of ’sin’. It is a matter of cause and effect, choice and consequence. And the sooner we realize it, the sooner we can change those effects, that we don’t happen to enjoy.

I keep in mind that it wasn’t until a few hundred years ago, that Humanity, as a whole, developed to the point of comprehending abstract thought. 2000 years ago, we’re talking IGNORANT in our ways and understanding.

Ask yourself how you would go about explaining quantum physics to people who didn’t even understand basic math? Then ask yourself how many errors in understanding and comprehension do you think these people would make in their assessment of what you shared with them.

  17. Sue, the discussion in its entirety? The more I read it, the more I question its purpose. To whom is the dialogue directed? I think that is my problem. For instance: the discussion concerning the “speaking in tongues”. For me, there is absolutely no reason to discuss or explain, because, once the truth is known . . . that when the apostles were told they would one day “preach the gospel in other languages”, the need for explanation using such words as ’spirit’, has no meaning for me.

  18. {{Mary}} You’re going to have to look within you Dear. You’re going to have to seek depth of meaning and value. If you have just been living life according to what you see with your physical eyes, then you have been missing out on the greater portion of life.

If our position is that of rejection, then our desire and value is not understanding. If we value Understanding, then we must seek TO understand, instead of simply rejecting.

I’m really picking up as much value in being rejecting and condemning coming from you, as is preached in the religions you condemn. Pot, kettle, black is black. An attitude of rejection and condemnation is an attitude of rejection and condemnation. If we sow it, then we reap it and is it Just that we do.

  19. I wonder, from reading this, if maybe it is not about the words spoken, but maybe it is about a more universal type language? like the feelings a smile might bring? or a hug? or love? or understanding that comes sometimes from listening? or even silence?a type of language that is understood maybe by all through these things somehow?

  20. Hi {{tumel}} !!!

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. It is a language of our Hearts. Most importantly, it is ALL- inclusive. Like a GENUINE smile, a heartfelt hug, an UNconditional listening ear. Any kind of act that conveys ‘namaste’: “Hi, I recognize you, the same Mind is in me that it is you, the same Spirit is in me that is in you, the same Soul is in me that is in you. An act of embrace.

It’s how I communicate in person with all types of people and have survived living in an area where the education level is the 4th grade. Words are not needed.

  21. I still have to question: without the Jewish Scriptures and without the Christian Bible, would “spirituality” still be such an important issue? From where else do all those questions arise? Life, as I view it and have lived it, needs nothing more that the knowledge that life is a precious commodity, that joy comes not just from pleasing ourselves, but from caring and seeing to the needs of our fellow human beings. Why make so complicated a simple process?

  22. Sue Ann, I was reading this and how you have interpreted the Bible’s view of speaking in tonges and here is my 2 cents worth. The bible speaks of spiritual gifts. A spiritual gift can on be that if it beneficial to someone. I would imagine when the spiritual gift of speaking in tonges was given, it was benefical because it was in fact all inclusive at that time. Whether it was a smile or any other univeral language is really not the point. It meant to communicate with all. What is important is that it was inclusive in the text. Through the ages, the gift has been misconstrued and has now been used in a way that does not fall into the realm of unity. We all have within us all of the spiritual gifts; however, we don’t always tap into them because most of us do not feel we have a need to tap into them, thus we simply don’t. You have tapped into your gifts of wisdom, healing, and even more. Whether it was because you felt a need to tap or your need arouse your curiosity, I can’t say. I would like to say that many of the Bible writers also had the gift of teaching, prophesy, and many more that for some reason they had tapped into. It’s just that there’s were recorded, as yours is now and many have taken what they say to be the Gospel, so to speak. But if we all tap into what we know in our hearts we can all tap in and share, so to speak. I have went to a church that tried to teach me to speak in tounges, I left and never returned. I had no need to speak in tounges and I could see no purpose for it. I do not believe they could have given me that gift, let alone anyone else. I thought I would share with you my favorite wisdom in the bible: I’m sure many other wise people have felt the same way; however they may have not recorded for the masses, as such is the bible. Her it is:

    1 Corinthians 13
    The Way of Love
1 If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate. 2If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing. 3-7If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.

    Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.
    Love doesn’t strut,
    Doesn’t have a swelled head,
    Doesn’t force itself on others,
    Isn’t always “me first,”
    Doesn’t fly off the handle,
Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
    Doesn’t revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
    Puts up with anything,
    Trusts God always,
    Always looks for the best,
    Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.
8-10Love never dies. Inspired speech will be over some day; praying in tongues will end; understanding will reach its limit. We know only a portion of the truth, and what we say about God is always incomplete. But when the Complete arrives, our incompletes will be canceled.

11When I was an infant at my mother’s breast, I gurgled and cooed like any infant. When I grew up, I left those infant ways for good.

12We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!

That’s really powerful! And, amazingly, it’s so much of what you speak!

    Namaste my friend.

  23. What I’m saying {{cordieB}} is that WITHOUT the tone of Unity, it is NOT ANY sort of SPIRITUAL anything…but is a bunch of bs. Just as much as the current trend for being spiritual “warriors” is bs. Or maybe say deluded rather then bs. SPIRIT doesn’t conflict with anything; it is the Unifying power of the Universe.

I have to separate reality into parts before I can set those parts against one another. That is the basis for all of our duality and polarity realities and as far as Spirit is concerned, none of these realities are real nor valid but are merely projections of our ignorance…children at play having both daydreams and nightmares.

In my efforts to communicate Unity awareness to those of us with polarity and duality in our heads, I might as well be speaking a foreign language most of the time. It is what makes what I write a ‘hard read’ sometimes and difficult to wrap our minds around. I know what’s it’s like. I’ve been there. Having been ‘there’ and now being ‘here’, is what makes it possible for me to bridge the communications gap as best I can. I try but still flubb up now and then and that’s why I often thank my readers for their Understanding and Patience, as I endeavor to keep on plugging away.

The Bible is a verrrrrrry old book and verrry much a work of manipulated intent, “agnostic” rather then “gnostic”, based on “not knowing”, rather then “knowing” and is best read from a perspective of anthropology.

The full inheritance of spiritual gifts belongs to each and every single one of us but these gifts are not realized until such time as we claim Sovereignty over our OWN hearts and minds. They are results of the Divine Marriage, ie. the child of god in union with the child of man. What this means is our conscious mind is aligned, integrated and fused with Spiritual realities. In order to accomplish this, we have to ‘weed out’ all ideas of separation from both our conscious and subconscious mind.

It also helps to understand what most of us call ‘love’ and have been taught is ‘love’, isn’t. Isn’t ‘love’ that is. Far from it. It’s actually a LACK of love and we call this LACK, “need”. Being needy and being loving are not the same thing. Nor is worshiping fear of death the same thing as loving life. One concentrates on the form, the other concentrates on the Spirit of Life that is expressing itself through form.

    namaste.

  24. I got you the first time, and I agree. I was just showing that some of the writers of the Bible had an insight not unlike your own; such as the verse I shared. In every life time and throughout history, there have been those who were able to tap into that which the mass seemed to miss, did not understand or feared due to what they had always been taught.

  25. Life is not stagnant, it and awareness expands.

Where Solomon tapped into it, he was unable to rectify all his different aspects. He was unable to create any kind of harmonious relationship with women, which mirrored his relationship with his own emotions. He did not claim Sovereignty over them.

Humanity, as a whole, has grown a great deal. As of the 1600’s, we can understand abstract thought, which helps immensely. (smiling)

It is now time that Humanity as a whole is evolving. Insight that once only popped up ‘here and there’, is now popping up all over the place. It is where our World is going, for ALL of us.

Quantum physics isn’t that easy for most of us to understand now. I can just imagine how difficult it was for Jesus to convey understanding 2000 years ago, to a populace that didn’t even understand the world was round.

And yes, it was Solomon who wrote: “crooked stick, straight stick, a stick is still a stick”, just like I’m saying ‘miserable moment, happy moment, a moment is still a Present, a Gift’… you are right; it is the same message. It is our capacity to understand that has changed.

I like the one about ‘when the silver cord is loosed and the golden bowl broken, when that which is of Spirit returns to spirit and dust to dust’. It illuminates a different sort of value system then the one most of us have been taught to recognize. For most of us have been taught to identify with our dust and not the Spirit which moves within us.

You felt it yourself, in the church that was trying to make some superior to others…your Heart told you and you had the Courage and the Valor to Honor it. That’s what Sovereignty is all about. Listening to what our Hearts tell us, which, by what you’ve shared so far, is exactly what you’ve been doing but…not giving yourself enough credit for. (Smiling REAL BIG)

I have no special pull with the bureaucrat of the universe. We are all Gifted, we just haven’t been accessing those gifts because we truly haven’t known we could. Our attention has been directed outside rather then inside and now that’s all changing. Which gives me, who has always been inner directed, a chance to share what I have learned, along with my message to “make improvements”.

Blessings to you this day! I send you bubbles of delight to tickle your fancy. They are all around you, just breathe them in thinking, “As I breath I receive”.

  26. Again, thanks for the insight! Back at cha … I’m sending the bubbles to you now! Hope it tickles your fancy!

  27. “To err is Human,” says my Husband.

    “And ‘To Forgive is Divine’…

    What a great quote!

  28. Thank You Andrew!

I keep saying a “perfect human” is an oxymoron. Being “human” is all about making mistakes. Every mistake being an opportunity for us to recognize and realize our Divinity.
